it’s been eleven years and 13 PORTMANIAs. (the numbering is convoluted) and now we’re all grown up. let’s take a PORTMANIA moment to applaud DAZZA who still updates this site daily. after eleven fricking years! HOORAY DAZZA!

A blogger had a chance encounter with Natalie and Ben at the Stone Barns Farmer’s Market. I’m going to include the full passage after the jump, but here are the highlights.

– Natalie is pregnant.
– Natalie is beautiful.
– Ben has a French accent.
– Nat and Ben bought a large blueberry galle for a dinner party that they would attend that evening.
– Dinner party was almost certainly plausibly likely to be in celebration of Portmania.
– Thus, henceforth, blueberry galle will be the official food of PORTMANIA, replacing the previous official food – cheese.

It can’t get any worse, folks.

PORTMANIA 13 starts today! right now. this MINUTE. and it’s already been a whole year since last PORTMANIA. we called it 12. what happened last time? i don’t remember. it’s probably better that way. but what’s happened since is Natalie getting pregnant and then getting engaged. and then winning an oscar. and then a pulitzer prize for PUNCHING. ONE OF THOSE IS MADE UP!
