“May December” Opens the NYFF

May December was the opening film at the New York Film Festival yesterday, making it its North American debut. Unfortunately, the actors’ strike continues and Natalie, Julianne Moore and Charles Melton could not attend the premiere. However, a large part of the crew was present at the event, including director Todd Haynes, producers Christine Vachon and Sophie Mas, and screenwriter Samy Burch. Full Trailer & Poster for “May december”

Today Netflix USA has unveiled the poster and full trailer for “May December”, the film directed by Todd Haynes starring Natalie and Julianne Moore. As previously announced, the movie will be released in select theaters on November 17, and on Netflix USA on December 1. We also have a complete Entertainment Weekly article about the film. Enjoy:

Natalie at the screenwriters’ concentration in New York

Taking advantage of her stay in New York, Natalie attended this past Tuesday the concentrations that the WGA has been holding in recent months in the city. The writers’ guild met with the AMPTP this Wednesday and will meet again this Thursday. Let’s hope that an agreement is reached between the parties, and that the actors are the next to achieve it….

SDG Media Zone Event at United Nations

Natalie also attended another event at the United Nations today: From Equality to Equity: empowering women and girls everywhere is a SDG Media Zone event celebrated at the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly this Monday. Spotlight Initiative

Natalie is back in the US, at least temporarily. She attended a conference today at the United Nations about the Spotlight Initiative: a movement in partnership with the EU and other partners aiming to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls. Ashley Judd and Nicolaj Coster-Landau were other actors who attended the event.
