Nice batch of mini updates today. Hopefully something more significant is just around the corner.

– Jonah Hill is having a good few months with an Oscar nomination and 21 Jump Street rocking the box office. On the weekend he attended the Israel Film Festival, which loses some cred by being held in Hollywood, and won the 2012 IFF Achievement in Film. In his speech he gave Natalie a cute little mention, and it went something like this…

“I’d like to thank Israel for creating a homebase for our people all over the world and most of all I’d like to thank Israel for Natalie Portman. We all love her and adore her”.

– Cate Blanchett is, like Natalie, starring in Malick’s Knight Of Cups and Lawless. She has told Harpers Bazaar that she can’t guarantee she will make the final edits of either film. A few weeks back I warned that this could also happen with Natalie. Wouldn’t that suck?
