Kris wants to get rid of the final vestiges of php coding on the site, and that would mean changing the comments section. The benefits would be more security and less power usage on the server.

Kris suggested we change to the Facebook comments system, which I’m sure you’ve seen on plenty of sites. This would mean that in order to leave comments you’d have to have a Facebook account. More than that, you’d have to use whatever name is associated with your Facebook account.

I told Kris that I can’t imagine many people would be down with that idea, but I thought it would be better to get some feedback before jumping to any conclusions.
