Kitten spotted an interesting Natalie tidbit in this new Deadline Hollywood article about Tony Krantz. Krantz was mainly a producer (mainly TV – 24, Felicity etc.) who has transitioned into directing in recent years.

The Natalie connection is that Krantz has set up Scruples 2, which Natalie and her partner, Annette Savitch, are executive producing. The original Scruples, also based off a novel, was a successful miniseries in 1980, and I would guess that this sequel will also be a miniseries.

Honestly, it doesn’t sound like something that would interest me in the slightest, but that’s okay because an exec producer rarely has much to do with the actual production.
