Sanjiro’s final Portmania update will land (with a thud? with a splash? with a hallelujah?) later today, but I felt like we needed to have a birthday post up on the site before then.

Natalie turns 30 today and we obviously all wish her a happy birthday. I’ve been doing this song and dance for a frighteningly long time, and while I admit that I could have run a fansite for any number of other celebs that I admire, I’m not sure many if any could have kept my interest as long as Natalie has.

Natalie is on the verge of motherhood and marriage. She’s now an Oscar winner. 30 is seen as a big marker in one’s life and even though it’s not always the case, Natalie is definitely moving into a new stage of her life. We wish her the best while still, selfishly, hoping that there are even greater professional highlights to come.

So happy birthday, Natalie. Happy birthday, Natalie’s mom. Happy birthday, Hannah. And viva la PORTMANIA bitches!
