Thor opened in a lot of foreign markets this weekend, ahead of the US opening, and took the top spot with a $83 million opening weekend. It’s the biggest international opening of the year (by a full $25 million) and is now already on $93 million cume.

It will be interesting to see what kind of impact it will have on the US box office, but it’s already on the way to becoming another nice hit for Marvel.
