– The Academy has a very stringent policy on what constitutes an eligible musical score and what doesn’t. Considering Clint Mansell based his Black Swan score on Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, it’s disappointing but not surprising that it has been struck from Oscar consideration.

– Natalie has been named one of People’s Most Intriguing People Of 2010. Topping the list is Sandra Bullock, who is probably the least intriguing person in Hollywood. Way to go, People.

– The Guardian has a really nice article on those stylish art piece posters for Black Swan. Definitely worth a read.
