I’m a huge Edgar Wright fan. He directed the gem of a TV show, Spaced, and followed that up with three fantastic films, Shaun Of The dead, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim vs The World. He’s a huge film geek and has talked to The Playlist about his favourites of the year.

He names Natalie as giving one of his favourite performances of the year, Black Swan’s “final seconds” as a favourite moment of the year, and Clint Mansell’s “super melodramatic” score as a favourite musical moment of the year.

He also has Thor and Your Highness amongst the films he’s looking forward to in 2011.
