Black Swan finally arrives in theatres today…for some people at least. The buzz has been almost deafening ever since its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September and, I think it can be argued, that this is Natalie’s most critically successful film and definitely her most successful performance.
There’s still a long way to go as the film slowly rolls out stateside and starts to get international releases in 2011. Not to mention the Oscar and other awards hoopla that’s only just shifting into high gear now.
I’ve posted tons of reviews over the past few months, to the point where I think we’re probably tired of them by now. If your thirst has not been quenched, head over to the RT page, where the film has a very healthy 85% fresh rating. There are wonderful and positive new reviews from the likes of Roger Ebert, James Berardinelli and Michael Phillips.
To those who are going to see the film this weekend, have fun. And think of me. Naked.
