I was tempted to recommend Doubt today, since Natalie turned down the role which ended up nabbing an Oscar nomination and people might be interested in mentally cutting and pasting Natalie over Amy Adams. But in the end its pretty good but not great, so instead I’m going to recommend…

At this point the films greatness and place in film history is assured. It was my joint favourite film of 2007 and grabbed Best Film at the Oscars, which is saying something as 2007 was a mind blowing year for film.

This latest release is the collectors edition. The dvd version is 3 discs and the blu-ray is 2. As much as many would like a new ending, the film remains intact. What sets this package apart is the bonus material – a whopping 5+ hours of NEW features that weren’t on the original release.
