The Women’s Film Critics Circle have handed out their awards for the year and Natalie was given an award for “acting and activism”. Always nice to see her charitable work recognized but I’m not sure how I feel about this awards group. I’m sure its well meaning but is it not a little sexist? And is it really necessary? I would hope and think that in this day and age great females in the film business will be recognized by the industry in large.

The again, everyone else is handing out awards this time of year. Might as well get in on that action.
