And I wish I was talking about politically correct. No, I rebooted my machine today and once back in I found that neither my international nor local desktop net connection shortcuts would work. I mean, they won’t even open up for me to input login details.

Going to network connections the only thing there is my LAN, which is fine. When I try adding a new connection to the internet with the wizard the “connect using dial up modem” and (what I would normally pick) “connect using a broadband connection that requires user name and pass” are both greyed out.

I’m writing this from another machine that uses the same router and account, so the problem is definitely with my machine itself.

I thought maybe my on board network card might have died but its still listed in device manager without any errors.

I’m at a total loss…help?
