Merry *insert whatever you believe in*

I wish I had a special np.comic or something. Truth is, I haven’t heard from Matt in ages. He was working on a special #100 comic and then just fell off the face of the earth. Again.

Hopefully I’ll still be able to get that final comic and then I think I’ll need to look for another new artist in the new year.

It’s not all doom and gloom on the artist front though. Things are going very nicely with Mathilda. The artist is a French guy called Christophe and our working relationship has been so comfortable and easy so far. I’m very happy with how the first chapter is panning out and I think that this time we’ll finally be able to deliver.

But unlike last time I’m not going to promise anything. I don’t know when the first chapter will be ready and we’re not going to be doing any teaser posters or promotional stuff UNTIL that first chapter is in the bag.

I have also decided that the comic will be in black and white. It makes more sense from a financial point of view…basically more bang for our buck. However, if someone out there has the skills and is willing to do colouring out the kindness of their heart, send me a mail.

I’ve uploaded an image (that has nothing to do with Mathilda) of Christophe’s work, so you at least have a general idea.

Right, I’m off to grab some food. Sanjiro might also post a bit later but that’s far from a certainty.
