Salome sent me his interesting theory, which explains why nat might be growing a mohawk.

Just to tell you that I have a slight idea about why Natalie is growing a mohawk.

From what I could see in other films, mohawk is the usual trick for actors with short hair, because it’s the most convenient way to attach a wig onto the skull with a final effect that will look as natural as possible. Considering the fact that Goya’s Ghosts shooting will take place soon, and that Natalie’s hair won’t possibly be long enough to fit the period’s length, it seems highly probable that the mohwak choice comes from the make-up and hair department, rather than from her own sense of style.
