Hiya
Struggling to keep my eyes open after watching the most boring soccer match ever. But I’ll try.
A few days back my friend Alex (he of the sometimes updates) made a nice joke about the whole Closer cut scenes thing. I told him he should write a strip based around it and I’d get Nate to draw it. He did and Nate did and so here it is.
Speaking of the cut scenes, JC found this new Closer review from JoBlo’s site. I think I should be serious for a second. Most of my comments about the nudity have been tongue in cheek. Yes, as a guy I would LOVE to see them. But you can’t confuse your crotch and your head…errr…don’t go there. In adult films I like nudity, partly because I’m a perv but also because it makes the film more of a realistic slice of life. But Closer is a film (and it was a play) about sex…WITHOUT SEX! It’s about the mental side of things, not the physical. So as much as it pains me to say, while it seems we won’t get to see any nudity, it might be the best thing for the film.
But not for my pants.
Jaunma found a nice big scan of that small Elle pic. Gorgeous!
Justin sent in a little report of the Actors Studio preview.
Hey Dazza. I don’t know if you care, but I just saw a preview of Natalie’s appearance on Inside the Actor’s Studio. We see her mentioning the fact that she was most likely to appear on Jeopardy, we see her saying that she didn’t know the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek. We also see her doing some tap dancing and at the end, in regard to revealing the plot of EP3, she said “that’s for me to know and you to find out.”
Tap dancing? Awesome. You can see a short clip of the Star Wars answer on the Bravo site. Thanks to Penny.
I promised a new poll and here she is.
And here are the results of the last poll.
What do you think of the Elle set?
One of her hottest/sexiest sets ever. 31.32% (270 votes)
I can’t believe they cut the nudity from Closer. 27.03% (233 votes)
I wonder why she looks so unhappy. 19.95% (172 votes)
I wish it was summer. 13.46% (116 votes)
I don’t like it. 6.73% (58 votes)
Right, that’s all for now. Seeya tomorrow.
