Just when we thought Natalie’s pregnancy was going to leave us without announcements of new projects for a while, yesterday we had unexpected news: according to Collider, Rian Johnson will produce 2034, a new Sci-fi film for Netflix and apparently Natalie will be associated with this project.
Update: According to an article from What´s on Netflix, Rachel McAdams will star in this project, not Natalie.

It’s been almost three months since we last saw Natalie in public, and today we learned the main reason: she’s pregnant with her third child. The father is her partner, French musician Tanguy Destable. The French tabloid Voici was the first to break the news this morning, but Natalie herself made the official announcement in an interview with Harper´s Bazaar. Time flies. Yesterday marked twenty years since the North American premiere of V for Vendetta. The film, directed by James McTeigue and produced and written by the Wachowskis, features one of Natalie Portman’s most memorable performances and has become a classic of early 2000s cinema.

Unfortunately, Natalie couldn’t attend the Academy Awards… but we did get to see her, in the form of a Tiffany commercial that aired during the broadcast. The short film, directed by Mona Fastvold (The Testament of Ann Lee) and Brady Corbet (Vox Lux, The Brutalist), is three minutes long and features Natalie recreating Audrey Hepburn’s look from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” The full film is available on Tiffany’s official YouTube channel:

In January, we saw Natalie filming a commercial for Tiffany & Co. on the streets of New York. Well… today it was announced that she will be the brand’s new global ambassador, joining other celebrities like Anya Taylor-Joy, Greta Lee, and Mikey Madison.

We’re momentarily breaking our rule of not posting candid photos of Natalie, but we think the occasion warrants it. She and her old friend Macaulay Culkin were seen taking a stroll through the streets of Paris this Friday. During their outing, they stopped by a restaurant for a quick lunch. Arco has won the award for Best Animated Film at the César Awards, which are being held tonight. The movie also won in the best music category. Unfortunately, Natalie did not attend the ceremony. Director Ugo Bienvenu and the other producers represented the film at the gala:
